You read that right.

Sit down, grab a drink and get ready for a story about technology that tastes like a gummy candy and works like a small soft Terminator.

AIdol enters the stage. And leaves it right away. Face first

Russia showed its first AI humanoid. It was supposed to be a show of strength. It became a show of gravity. The AIdol robot walked on stage to the Rocky soundtrack. Two people guiding it. Lights. Camera. Action. And then boom. The legs said not today. Parts of the robot stayed on the stage like bad DIY Lego.

The tech team rushed in like someone yelled control. They surrounded the robot, covered it with a screen and tried to drag it out. It looked like someone trying to hide a body at a company party. The problem was that half the room had their phones out and one industrial camera was recording everything.

The internet screamed that it was a failure. A disgrace. That this is not how you show a humanoid. And I see it completely differently. For me this is the most honest humanoid we have seen in years.

You look at it and you see the full vibe. It looks like a stereotypical Russian after a heavy drinking night. Stumbling. Dropping parts. Carried out like a friend from a wedding at 3 a.m. The robot is drunk out of its mind. Perfect match with the national story.

The best thing is that you do not need any flags or subtitles. You look at it and you know exactly where it is from. No marketing. No filters. Just raw truth.

I think other companies should take notes. This kind of demo is pure honesty. No pretending. No perfect stability. The robot simply does its thing. Which is…. Lying on the floor.

Forgis. A startup that grabbed 4.5M faster than I can boil water

Forgis from Switzerland did something rare in the world of automation. They raised 4.5 million dollars in only 36 hours. And not from random people. They got support from the founder of Arduino and several strong funds from Europe and the USA.

They received five investment offers. Three from the States. Two from Europe. And they decided to stay here. Something like thanks America but we stay in a place where the coffee is better and life is a bit slower.

So what are they doing. Forgis builds something they call Windows for factories. It is software that connects machines, robots and sensors from different manufacturers into one system. A factory all in one. Thanks to that the production line finally acts like a team instead of a group of devices that do whatever they want.

The result. Less downtime, more order and real automation in places where chaos usually wins. First pilots go to automotive and advanced manufacturing. A strong start.

The founders are young people from ETH Zurich and St. Gallen. They worked at Google, Bain and IBM. A strong team that is not yet tired of corporate life.

Investors say Forgis can shake Western industry with a solution that you plug in and it simply works. If their software works even half as well as their fundraising, they will stir the market more than many expect.

One thing is clear. This is one of the most impressive funding rounds in European automation in 2025. They make millions in one and a half days. I make a clean desk in that time if I try very hard.

Lavo AI. A Karcher that does not ask questions. It just works

The cleaning robot market has a new player. It is called Lavo AI and it is the first autonomous pressure washing robot. In short. machines. graffiti. walls. floors. Everything that a human with a washer would do, now can be done by a robot that does not show up late and does not go for a smoke break.

Lavo AI can clean up to 6000 square feet per hour. Which is what I do in May if I count my balcony after winter. It also has a Click and Clean system that sounds like a shoe washing app, but here it means one thing. You set the route. You save it. The robot repeats it with no complaining and no humans yelling about cables.

Inside. cameras. mapping. autonomy. Nvidia edge compute. All the tech you do not see in a normal pressure washer from the store. Thanks to that Lavo AI can move around warehouses and industrial spaces without hitting anything.

The goal is simple. Higher efficiency and lower costs in the cleaning industry, which is worth over 100 billion dollars. So yes. someone makes real money on cleaning floors.

Pilots start in winter 2025. Full launch is planned for Q2 2026. But you can pre order it if you want a small robot that looks like a DLC character from SimCity Factory Edition.

Behind it stands Lucid Bots from Charlotte. A company that builds robots for tasks where a normal person asks about hazard pay. Lavo AI looks like their strong card. And it will probably be a hit.

UBTECH dropped an army of Walker S2 robots and the internet panicked

November 2025. I scroll like a normal person and suddenly a video appears. A hall the size of a small airport filled with hundreds of Walker S2 humanoids standing in perfect rows. Then they start marching and it looks like someone launched a trailer for I Robot but with a Chinese twist.

UBTECH posted the video to show that they started mass deliveries of Walker S2 robots to big partners. BYD. Geely. FAW Volkswagen. Dongfeng. Foxconn. All giants who order robots by the pallet.

Walker S2 is not a small toy. It is 1.76 meters tall. 70 kilograms. 52 degrees of freedom. It walks up to 2 meters per second. Lifts 15 kilograms. Screws bolts. Scans QR codes. A proper front line worker without shifts and without vacations.

The biggest feature is battery swap in 3 minutes. No chargers. No breaks. Just a quick swap and the robot keeps going like someone pressed stay productive or else.

Of course the internet had opinions. Some said the video was CGI. Brett Adcock from Figure AI even said some shots look too clean. UBTECH answered with drone videos and test footage. Most people calmed down after that.

Still. the video hits like a preview of tomorrow. When you see one hundred humanoids marching like one organism, you start thinking. Is this a movie. Or is one of them already standing in line to take my job.

Robot gummy. Yes. This is real

Researchers at EPFL decided that robots made of metal are boring. Now we have a robot you can eat. I am serious. The whole thing is edible. Battery. Valve. Actuator. Everything made from safe materials.

The battery is made of gelatin and wax. Inside it has citric acid and baking soda. When the membrane breaks they react, gas forms and the robot gets power like a tiny energy boost. The gas moves through gelatin tubes that bend the actuator. They also made an edible valve that snaps open and closed, giving the robot repeatable movement.

Why do this. Mostly to help with wild animals that cannot be caught easily. The robot gummy can attract them with motion. It is safe to swallow and can deliver medicine or nutrients. One animal. One robot. No trash in the forest.

The taste. Some parts are sweet and gummy. The battery is crunchy and sour in the middle. Like a mix of candy and a school chemistry experiment.

This is not a party snack. It is a serious project that shows how robotics is moving in strange but clever directions. Because when a robot appears that you can bite and it still makes sense, then you know something interesting is happening.
